Murray County Tax Commissioner Mission Statement:

The mission of our Murray County Tax Office is to provide the citizens of Murray County the best customer service in the performance of our duties. We want to collect the tax revenue which the County and School Systems have levied in a manner expected to meet the financial needs of our county, treat each taxpayer fairly, honestly, and be accountable in all that we do.

Murray County, GA government offices are closed on the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • President's Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran's Day
  • Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday
  • Christmas Day and day before or after Christmas
